New report template system, plan validation, and 2026 contract support

New report template system

Our most requested feature is now here. The report template system is a major leap forward in how you create and manage your contract review templates.

  • Customise report content to suit your practice - modify wording, adjust merge tags, configure conditional logic, update branding, and tailor document settings to match your firm's requirements.
  • Preview and edit your generated report directly in the contract review interface before downloading the final Word document. This allows you to make final adjustments without leaving Curia.

All existing accounts remain on the legacy report system and your workflow is unaffected by this change. The new system is available to any account that would like to opt in - reach out to the Curia team to get started. The new report template system is built with the future in mind, and minor differences in document formatting and layout may occur compared to legacy reports. New templates open the door to powerful new features in upcoming releases.

Plan and title diagram preflight checks

Curia now validates that plan documents are present for each title as part of preflight checks.

  • A new Plan/Title Diagram section appears in Preflight directly after the title search section.
  • Each title search is checked against identified plans in the contract, with a pass or warning status shown for each.

2026 NSW contract edition support

Curia now recognises the 2026 edition of the NSW Contract for the Sale and Purchase of Land.

  • During the transition period (now through 31 May 2026), both the 2022 and 2026 editions are accepted as current.
  • From 1 June 2026, only the 2026 edition is accepted as current. Contracts using the 2022 edition show a warning.
  • New standard inclusions from the 2026 edition are available: internet/TV receiver and solar power battery.
