Library - Recommendations

The Recommendations library allows you to manage standard recommendations that can be applied during contract reviews. These recommendations provide consistent guidance for addressing issues found in contracts.

What are recommendations?

Recommendations are predefined suggestions for addressing issues identified during contract review. Each recommendation consists of two parts:

  • Amendment: Instructions for the vendor's solicitor on how to modify the contract
  • Explanation: Client-friendly explanation of why the amendment is needed and what it achieves

How are recommendations used?

Recommendations in the library are:

  • Automatically suggested when relevant issues are detected
  • Applied consistently across all reviews in your account
  • Customisable to match your firm's preferred wording and approach

Managing recommendations

Viewing recommendations

The recommendations library displays all available recommendations with:

  • The amendment text (instructions to vendor's solicitor)
  • The explanation text (client-facing)

Editing recommendations

To modify a recommendation:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Library > Recommendations
  2. Locate the recommendation you want to edit
  3. Click the table row or select "edit" from the row dropdown
  4. Modify the amendment and/or explanation text
  5. Save your changes
Changes to recommendations apply to all future reviews but do not affect existing reviews.
