Billing stages in document review
A document review in Curia Contract Review involves two separate billing stages: preflight and review.
What are the billing stages?
Preflight stage
- Initial charge when a document is uploaded
- Covers initial document processing and preflight report generation
- Charged regardless of whether the review proceeds
Review stage
- Additional charge when starting the review after preflight
- Charged only if the review proceeds past preflight
How does billing work across months?
Each charge is applied in the month it occurs.
What happens if I abandon a review?
- Only the preflight fee is charged
- No additional review fee is charged
- The document can be reviewed later if needed. The review fee will be charged if this occurs.
