Connecting triConvey

Connect triConvey to Curia Contract Review to automatically import and sync your contacts.

What is triConvey?

triConvey is a conveyancing practice management platform. Connecting triConvey to Curia automatically imports your contacts so you can link them to contract reviews without manual data entry.

Connecting

To connect triConvey:

  • Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  • Click Connect on the triConvey card.
  • A login form from "Smokeball" is displayed. Don't worry - this is expected. triConvey runs on the Smokeball platform behind the scenes, so you will see their branding on the login page. Enter your usual triConvey email and password to continue.

  • Once authenticated, you are returned to Curia automatically.

Once connected, a success message confirms the connection and your initial contact sync begins.

Initial sync

After connecting, Curia imports all your contacts from triConvey. Depending on the number of contacts in your account, this may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. You will receive an email when the sync is complete.

Managing your connection

After connecting, click Manage on the triConvey card to view your connection details:

  • Status - a badge showing whether the connection is active (Connected) or has an issue (Invalid credentials)
  • Connected by - the team member who connected the integration
  • Account number - your triConvey account identifier
  • Date connected - when the connection was established

Refreshing data

When contacts are added or updated in triConvey, they are automatically synced to Curia within about a minute - usually within seconds.

If a contact added in triConvey has not appeared in Curia after a few hours, you can click Refresh data to manually trigger a full sync. This is not something you should need to do often.

Note: The manual refresh can only be run once per day. Clicking the button again within the same day has no effect.

Disconnecting

To disconnect triConvey:

  • Go to Settings > Integrations and click Manage on triConvey.
  • Click Disconnect.
  • Review the confirmation dialog - disconnecting will:
  • Stop automatic syncing of contacts
  • Remove the connection between Curia and triConvey
  • Require you to reconnect if you want to use the integration again
  • Click Disconnect to confirm.

Important: Existing imported contacts remain in Curia after disconnecting. They are not deleted.

FAQ

How long does the initial sync take?

It depends on how many contacts you have in triConvey. Small accounts may complete in a few minutes, while larger accounts with thousands of contacts may take several hours. You will receive an email when the sync is complete.

Who can connect triConvey?

The Integrations page is part of Settings and is only accessible to users with the Admin role.

What happens if I disconnect and reconnect?

Disconnecting stops syncing and preserves existing imported contacts. If you reconnect, a fresh import runs and your contacts are synced again. Previously imported contacts are matched and updated rather than duplicated.

What does "Invalid credentials" mean?

If your triConvey authorisation expires or is revoked, the connection shows an "Invalid credentials" badge. To resolve this, disconnect the integration and reconnect to re-authorise.
