Ria Findings

How Ria's findings appear on review fields, what they contain, and how to change the value she recorded.

Ria records some review values with her reasoning attached. Where she has, the field carries a Ria Finding.

Recognising a Ria Finding

A Ria Finding sits in a box with a sparkles icon and the label Ria Finding, above the field’s input. It stays on screen when the field is toggled off, so her reasoning is available whether or not the field prints in the report.

Findings appear on fields throughout the review, most often on Particulars and, in NSW, on Special Conditions.

What’s in a finding

  • Ria’s explanation of how she reached the value.
  • Sources - the clauses she relied on, with a page number where the finding can be tied to one clause. Click a page number to open it in the contract viewer.

The value itself is in the field below the finding, already filled in.

Working with a finding

Read the finding against the contract and decide whether the value is right for the client, then edit the field if it isn’t. The finding is a record of how the value was reached, and it stays on the field after you edit.

FAQ

Are Ria’s findings always right?

No. Weigh the reasoning and the clauses it cites against the contract before the report goes to the client.
