Financial tab (VIC)

The Financial tab on a VIC review captures council rates and the SRO clearance figures from the contract.

This article applies only to Victoria reviews.

The Financial tab brings together the council and State Revenue Office figures shown on the certificates bundled in the contract. Curia pre-fills the values from the certificates.

Council

Certificate date

The issue date of the Land Information Certificate. Curia warns above this field if the date is more than 3 months old.

Annual amount and Billed

The annual rates amount and the billing frequency.

Arrears

Any outstanding rates on the property as shown on the certificate.

Special charge schemes and Notices or orders

Two further fields capture any special charge scheme that applies to the property and any council notices or orders disclosed on the certificate.

SRO clearance certificate

The clearance certificate from the State Revenue Office can disclose four kinds of outstanding amount against the property. Curia records each one separately.

Certificate date

The issue date of the SRO clearance certificate. Curia warns above this field if the date is more than 3 months old.

Land tax outstanding

Any land tax owing on the property at the date of the certificate.

VRLT outstanding

Any Vacant Residential Land Tax owing on the property.

CIPT outstanding

Any Commercial and Industrial Property Tax owing on the property.

Windfall Gains Tax outstanding

Any WGT owing on the property.
