Usage activity report
View, filter and export a line-by-line breakdown of billed activity on your account for reconciliation against your Curia invoice.
The Usage Activity Report lists every billable event on your account so you can reconcile against your Curia invoice or pass the cost on as a disbursement. Only the account owner can open this page.
Opening the report
In the settings sidebar, click Usage. Recent usage is shown by default.
Choosing a date range
A Date range dropdown in the header offers the usual presets, or you can set Report start date and Report end date directly using the datetime fields. Click Update to apply.
Choosing a timezone
The Timezone dropdown has two options:
- Local timezone - events shown in your local time. This is the default.
- Billing timezone (UTC) - events shown in UTC.
Filtering by state
If your account operates in more than one state, a state filter is available with All states plus an option for each state you operate in. Pick a single state to narrow the report, or leave it on All states.
What the table shows
Each row is one billable event. The columns are:
- Date - when the event was billed.
- Type - Preflight, Review Standard or Review Complex.
- State - the state the contract belongs to.
- Address - the property address on the contract.
- Matter - the matter the review is linked to, if any. Click it to open the matter.
- Client - the client contacts linked to the review. Each linked contact is a link; click it to open that contact. When no client contact is linked, Curia falls back to the purchaser names read from the contract.
- Source - whether the Client column came from a linked client contact (Linked Client) or the purchaser names on the contract (Purchaser Name).
- User - the person on your account who triggered the event.
- Price - the amount billed for the event.
A Total row at the bottom sums the Price column for the rows currently shown.
Click any row to open the contract in a new tab. The Matter and Client links open the matter or contact instead.
Exporting to CSV
Click Export CSV in the header. Curia downloads a CSV of the rows currently shown, with the same columns as the table. Set the date range, timezone and state filter before exporting; the export reflects what is on screen.
FAQ
Why don’t the totals match my invoice?
Most often the timezone is the cause. Curia bills in UTC, so switch the Timezone dropdown to Billing timezone (UTC) and confirm the date range covers the same period as the invoice.
Does the report update on its own?
No. Click Update after changing the date range, timezone or state filter to refresh the results.
Can other users on my account open this?
No. The Usage Activity Report is restricted to the account owner.
