Sign-in methods

How to sign in to Curia with a password, social account or passkey, and how to add or remove a sign-in method later.

Curia accepts several sign-in methods on the same account, and you can add or remove them at any time. The options on the sign-in screen at app.curia.com.au are the ones available to you.

Sign-in methods

  • Password
  • Email verification link sent to your inbox
  • Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 or Outlook)
  • Google account (Google Workspace or Gmail)
  • Passkey, using a credential stored on your device

You can use any combination of these on the same account.

Signing in with a Microsoft or Google account

On the sign-in screen, choose the Microsoft or Google option and complete the sign-in with that provider. The email address on the provider account must match the email address on your Curia account, otherwise the sign-in won’t link to your Curia account.

For Microsoft specifically, including what to do if your IT administrator blocks the sign-in, see Signing in with Microsoft.

Adding or removing a sign-in method

  1. Click your profile button at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click Manage account.
  3. Scroll to Connected accounts.
  4. To add a method, click the provider and follow the verification steps.
  5. To remove a method, click the menu (the ’…’ icon) next to the provider and click Remove.

Two-factor authentication

Curia supports two-factor authentication using an authenticator app. See Setting up two-factor authentication for the steps.

FAQ

What if I can’t sign in?

If you sign in with a password, use the forgot password option on the sign-in screen to reset it. If you sign in with Microsoft or Google, check that the provider account is accessible and that its email address matches your Curia account. If you still can’t get in, contact Curia Support.

My Microsoft or Google sign-in isn’t linking to my Curia account

The email address on the provider account must match the email address on your Curia account. If they differ, the provider will sign you in to its own service but Curia won’t recognise it as your account.
