Managing recommendations
Edit the standard recommendation text Curia pre-fills onto review fields, or disable the entries you don't want auto-applied.
The Recommendations tab of the Library holds the standard recommendation text Curia applies during a review. Each recommendation has two parts:
- An Amendment request for vendor’s solicitor - formal wording for the cover letter to the other side.
- A Recommendation for client - a plain-language explanation of why the amendment is needed.
Active recommendations are auto-applied when a relevant field value is detected during processing. Disabled recommendations are skipped.
Editing a recommendation
Open Settings > Library and switch to the Recommendations tab. Use the State filter at the top if your account operates in more than one state. Click any row to open the side pane.
You can change:
- The amendment text.
- The client recommendation text.
- The Active checkbox.
Click Save to apply. Changes affect future reviews only.
Recommendations are a fixed catalogue. You can’t add or delete entries - only edit them and toggle them active.
What a disabled recommendation does
A disabled recommendation is not auto-applied. On the affected review field, the Advice mode selector still shows - with Auto, Manual, and None on template-driven fields, or Manual and None elsewhere. Switch to Manual to write your own recommendation text for that review.
FAQ
Why can’t I create a new recommendation?
The recommendation list is a fixed catalogue. You can edit the text on any entry and toggle it active or inactive, but adding new ones isn’t supported.
Does disabling a recommendation affect reviews already open?
No. Disabling only takes effect on new reviews. Reviews already open keep the recommendations they had at the time.
Can the same recommendation differ between NSW and VIC?
Yes. Recommendations are state-scoped; the NSW and VIC entries are independent.
