Linking contacts to reviews
Linking contacts during upload
When uploading a new document, you can optionally link contacts in the Link contacts step. Use the search field to find existing contacts and add them to the review.
Linking contacts at upload is entirely optional - you can upload a document without linking any contacts and add them later.
Linking contacts from the review
You can also link contacts to an existing review from the Client tab on the review page.
- Open a review and navigate to the Client tab.
- In the Link client contact record section, search for a contact by name.
- Select the contact to link them to the review.
You can link multiple contacts to a single review. For example, if a husband and wife are both purchasing, link each person as a separate contact.
Unlinking contacts
To remove a contact from a review, click the remove button next to the contact in the Link client contact record section on the Client tab.
Unlinking a contact from a review only removes the relationship. The contact record and the review are both preserved.
Name mismatch recommendation
When you link a client contact to a review, Curia compares the linked contact names with the purchaser names extracted from the contract front page. If the names don't match, a recommendation is shown to help you verify that the correct contacts are linked.
Viewing reviews from a contact profile
From any contact's profile page, the Reviews tab shows all reviews linked to that contact. Each entry shows the property address, processing status, title reference, filename, submission date, and the review owner. Click any review to open it directly.
